USDT exists on multiple blockchains, so the network label matters as much as the token name. A TRC20 address should not be assumed to work with ERC20 or another chain.
Speed and fees depend on the selected network and sending wallet. Both the sender and cashier must support the same chain.
USDT is usually less volatile against the US dollar than many crypto assets, but network fees can still change the final amount received.
